Unrest in Greece. Flooding in the Mid-west. Fires raging out West. All since our last post a couple of weeks ago. A cynical person might call this coincidence, but we figured we better post something before earth tilts on its axis and civilization as we know it implodes. No thanks necessary. We consider it our civic duty.
But you can send us a bag full of money if you want.
Bought a new house, so my last couple of weeks have been filled with U-Hauls, a sore back, and an on-going conversation with my wife about how many antique bamboo fly rods would really look awesome above the fire place (apparently none). Anyway, we have a few posts in the pipeline, but it will be a day or two before we can get those out. In the meantime, go check out the Naturalist's Angle. Jay put up a pretty cool post about birds. We're closet birders ourselves. Got a life list and everything. That bluebird above has been a permanent resident at Finewater Headquarters and nearly drove my wife insane this spring by tapping on the kitchen window all day. Every day. Without fail. All day.
Anyway, check Jay's post. Heck, check out the whole blog. He won't mind.
